(14,974 posts)My second dose (Pfizer) really kicked my ass, but only for about 24 hours starting about 12 hours after the shot. Definitely worth the enhanced peace of mind now.

(205,506 posts)I started feeling rotten later that same night, severe chills so I just went to bed. And I still felt awful the next day, more chills and I felt so woozy that I wasn't sure I could get out of bed. I also felt nauseous. But that was about it, it only lasted for about a day and I have to say that I was extremely relieved to finally get the vaccine. In the beginning, it wasn't available around here. These days they have walk-ins! I got mine in March, took my brother for Pfizer shot #2 at the nearby state run walk-in clinic last week. Good for you and hope you don't feel bad - I've learned experiences vary...

(14,855 posts)It was Moderna for me too. The side-effects weren't bad. I started feeling pretty fatigued about 24 hours later. Checked my temperature at that point, despite not feeling warm at all, and it was 101F.
No more side-effects by the next day, except the arm was still barely sore.
