My Friday morning Democratic pipe dream:
What if Manchin and Sinema are hatching a plot together with Chuck Schumer. They’re both bluffing about the filibuster in order to flush out the Republicans, giving McConnell et al every chance to come forward with meaningful proposals. In the end they’ll flip and say “you guys got nada” and vote to end the filibuster. That way, come the election, the Republicans are left holding the bag.
Never mind. I just woke up. I need some coffee. . .
