For the Previous Guy, Everything Was News Fodder - Even Lies
With Joe Biden, not so much. We're not hearing a lot in the media about what is going on, say, in the DOJ. AG Garland isn't giving press conferences, full of administration talking points, like Barr did. He has returned to the normal way the DOJ operates, which is to keep investigations confidential until some action will take place, like a Grand Jury or charges.
Sometimes, it seems like many people want the Biden Administration to act a lot like the previous administration did. I think that's a bad idea. I think the DOJ should be doing investigations in many areas. Guess what? It is doing them, but not issuing a constant stream of press releases about them. That's how it is supposed to work.
Joe Biden and his administration is returning to SOP (standard operating practices) that have usually been the norm. He shouldn't pattern his administration after the previous one in any way. Instead, he should govern, guide, and let his cabinet department heads lead their departments properly. That's how Joe Biden does things.
Let's give him a chance, OK?
