I have been ill the past week, while traveling too, and wasn't aware of this event.

It's been a nasty week and a half all around. Went to CA for a family funeral and arrived with a dental emergency and Rx rejection. Then a fight with clinicians about changing the Rx for 36 hours and finally a new Rx yesterday. I still have another memorial to attend on Sunday, again in another state, so I have a 6 hour drive tomorrow. Wasn't so sure I'd make it to that one until this morning.

I am starting to feel better, I wasn't able to eat for over a week, I can think of better ways to lose ten pounds.

At least I can engage in cognitive functions again.

I plan on eating well while at this one as my friend, my dearest friend and mentor of 30 years, was a master chef and her family have plans to celebrate that at the memorial. It's more of a celebration of life and they expect at least 300! She was very popular and engaged in the community.

It does feel good to have an appetite after all this time.
