Secret Service, SWAT, Arrest Ohio Man

Police, Secret Service agents, and a SWAT team converged on a Boardman hotel to arrest a man suspected of making threats directed toward the White House.

Township Police were called to the Red Roof Inn on Thursday to assist Secret Service agents who believed that 57-year-old Timothy Geisler was traveling from his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Washington D.C.

After learning from a member of the housekeeping staff that Geisler had an ax, knives, and clubs in his room, police ordered an evacuation of the first two floors of the hotel before knocking on Geisler’s door.

When the door opened, Boardman Police Chief Todd Werth found himself face to face with Geisler, who had blood on his head, according to the police report.

With one hand hidden behind his back, Chief Werth ordered Geisler to show both hands. The confrontation erupted into a wrestling match with three officers and Geisler ending up on the floor.

6. Cops respond to call, knowing their subject is heavily armed

Subject opens the door to the cops, bleeding from his head, hand behind his back. Disobeys cop's order to show both hands, gets into physical altercation with three cops, and isn't shot, tasered, choked out, or otherwise maimed or killed. I have been repeatedly assured that such a thing is unpossible, that this person should have been dead after such an encounter with law enforcement. Timothy must have some sort of magic charm or talisman protecting him!
