I question this obsession on this site with seemingly wanting the pandemic to go on forever.....maybe some don't have kids or grand kids or enjoy living an active life or believe science?

Geez....it is over in the US, other parts of the world are not so lucky. For those of us who have been vaccinated, its over. We have been living totally normal lives for 2 months now.

The vaccine is very effective, those who are vaccinated but extremely high risks are free to also wear a mask. But life has returned to normal for anyone who chooses that. Our kids have their friends again, go to their tournaments again, we socialize again.

And as a person with an MS in Microbiology with friends still in the industry, the variants are not going to be a issue. Just 2 days ago a solid study showed the vaccines are 86% effective from serious illness to even the most transmissible of the variants.

Only 20% vaccinated, pretty inept roll out of the vaccine. Watching the French Open is a joke when the poor spectators are still masked and have to leave at the curfew every day.

Every news story or ad they always have to show a dozen closeups of it. I know most people dont care but it alwasy gives me the heebie jeebies! But i've had MY shots; i just didnt LOOK!

13. Same here. Drives me nuts looking at the Minnesota Public Radio news website

and they have to have a picture illustrating every headline on their headlines listings

and if has ANYTHING to do with Covid, about half the pictures are of someone getting injected, sigh.
