(14,974 posts)In fact, if ANY non-cop had performed that action at that place at that time, they would have been arrested immediately by one of the fucking cops who were right there.
Instead, the other cops did NOTHING, the department did NOTHING, and the chief comes out and claims "ZOMG! We totes never knew this happened!" -- which is probably true because all of the cops who were there are complicit scumbags who cover up each others' criminal behavior while hiding behind a badge.
And now we are supposed to sit here and get gas-lit by that fucking police chief about "higher standard" nonsense? The fact is -- despite the chief's effort to obfuscate by spewing lies to the contrary -- that cops unlawfully hurt people all the fucking time PRECISELY because they are held to a LOWER standard than the people they act unlawfully against.
