Putin is a very clever Beast.... and he is not to be underestimated.

I disagree with the title to this post.... in that I don't think he was knocked back on his heels in the least. Perhaps it wasn't the cakewalk that he had with a dumbass 45, but he is still on his game.

I also thought his presser was very good. He took questions from his own Stooges as well as some foreign journalists. I didn't see any qanon idiots or any of the other American Stooges in the Press Corps..fox, etc. The questions were pretty straightforward and extremely important. Of course he didn't answer them the way we would have liked, but he did address them... unlike what we often get from the stooges on the news networks when they are presented with questions.

It's a new day... and I would say we are on equal footing, but I would also have to add that we have a legitimate representation dealing with Putin and Russia.

Some expert on Russia was speaking on NPR the other day, and she said that just by having a high profile meeting with Biden/US Putin comes out a winner. His main goal is to show that Russia is an important world leader--while it really is not that powerful--that has meetings with the US. All he has to do is get a meeting with Biden on the world stage and he shows his countrymen that he's still a big cheese, so to speak.
