During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell once again kicked the can down the road regarding Donald Trumps alleged return to the White House, saying that by the end of the year, the 2020 election results will be overturned and Trump will be reinstated as president.
Lindell also has an opinion about Trumps motivation for becoming president.
He is the only president in my lifetime who wasnt in it for the ego and worked only for the people and not for his own interests, Lindell told Rolling Stones Stephen Rodrick.
🤣🤣🤣
Six months from now, Trump will be our real president and our country will be heading toward its greatest rebirth in history, he said.

(13,598 posts)people. He'd be doing that to climb up the wealth rankings. Also of course cash in his family and a few other allies. If he'd have just done that and actually tried to do the job, he'd still be president. He could have still hired a lot of assholes, if they would have just tried to at least make it look good, a lot of RWer's would be really happy. no matter what McConnell says, he has to be pissed. They could have had it all.

... the Trump Organization charged the Secret Service (in other words, the taxpayer) $400 to $650 a night to stay at Mar-a-Lago while guarding the president. At another Trump property, his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, the Secret Service was billed $17,000 a month for a small cottage, even when the president wasnt present. These are just snapshots. Despite heroic public-records work by the Post, theres still no complete picture of just what the Trump Organization is charging the Secret Service ...

... The records show that Trumps club charged the Secret Service $396.15 every night starting Jan. 20, the day he left the White House and moved full time into his Palm Beach, Fla., club.
Those charges, ultimately paid by taxpayers, continued until at least April 30, the spending records show, for a total of $40,011.15. The charges were for a single room used as a workspace by Secret Service agents, according to one person familiar with the payments ...

(61,657 posts)Millions of people can't admit that they got conned. Instead of facing the truth and dealing with it, they make up fantasies and insist the fantasies are true.
In their fantasy, the man they support is strong, kind, ethical, highly intelligent and dedicated to helping people. He's a rugged individualist who breaks rules in order to make things better. These are familiar fantasies about the kind of person who supposedly "made America." Ultimately, it's a white supremacist ideal, taught in history books to American school children for generations.
