The biggest vaccination campaign in history is underway. More than 2.47 billion doses have been administered across 180 countries, according to data collected by Bloomberg. The latest rate was roughly 35.7 million doses a day.

In the U.S., 313 million doses have been given so far. In the last week, an average of 1.17 million doses per day were administered.

World Map of Vaccinations
More than 2.47 billion doses have been administered—enough to fully vaccinate 16.1% of the global population

Note: “Population covered” divides the doses administered for each vaccine type by the number of doses required for full vaccination. Data gathered from government agencies, public statements, Bloomberg interviews and the World Health Organization and Johns Hopkins University.
Enough doses have now been administered to fully vaccinate 16.1% of the global population—but the distribution has been lopsided. Countries and regions with the highest incomes are getting vaccinated more than 30 times faster than those with the lowest.

We have a long way to go. And the evolutionary aspects of this virus seems to get worse as far as contagion goes.....can't let it continue to evolve in non-vaccinated hosts.

I am concerned about strains that can mutate effectively to defeat the current vax options. I get the poor will be the last inoculated, but if 2/3 of humans are unvaccinated, that makes the mutation opportunities are wide open and could defeat our attempts to mitigate the spread.

We will never win over all the anti Vaccine crazies but we need to vaccine as many as possible.

There weren’t many people refusing Polio and other vaccines in the past. My Mother was so relieved knowing neither my Sister or I would be crippled or even in an Iron Lung via Polio.

We are threatened in this way and other ways by millions who have lost their minds, gone over to Crazy Town.
