McConnell rips Manchin's proposed "compromise" on voting:

McConnell rips Manchin’s proposed “compromise” on voting:

“Senate Democrats seem to have reached a so-called ‘compromise’ election takeover among themselves. In reality, the plan endorsed by Stacey Abrams is no compromise.”

At press conference, McConnell singles out Manchin proposals dealing with the FEC, redistricting.

“All Republicans will oppose that as well,” he says

McConnell now opposes both of Manchin’s ideas - passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, and his “compromise” on S1

Or perhaps you have a deep abiding love of being in the Senate minority?

Sooner or later the Honorable Senator from West Virginia is going to have look in the mirror and decide if he's a man or a mouse. I don't know what his answer will be, but it's a question can't be weaseled out of.

You is or you ain't.

Banning gerrymandering deeply cuts into their power in many states and they will not budge from that. They don’t like most/all of the other measures but banning gerrymander is a must have for Dems and Repubs will oppose and fight that tooth and nail.

Manchin needs to grow a spine and understand there is no compromise in anything Moscow Mitch does. He will always obstruct every last thing that is brought up by Dems. It is Fools Gold to believe that the Turdle will not weaponize the filibuster and do the right and moral thing for Americans. Only goods delivered will be for the rich and powerful oligarchs of the nation. Wise up Sen. Manchin... and that goes for Sinema too.

He voted to reauthorize the 1965 Voting Rights Act in 2006. He just defined himself as proud to be racist. And he did it in simple English.
