Senate Democrats seem to have reached a so-called compromise election takeover among themselves. In reality, the plan endorsed by Stacey Abrams is no compromise.
At press conference, McConnell singles out Manchin proposals dealing with the FEC, redistricting.
All Republicans will oppose that as well, he says

(1,156 posts)Manchin needs to grow a spine and understand there is no compromise in anything Moscow Mitch does. He will always obstruct every last thing that is brought up by Dems. It is Fools Gold to believe that the Turdle will not weaponize the filibuster and do the right and moral thing for Americans. Only goods delivered will be for the rich and powerful oligarchs of the nation. Wise up Sen. Manchin... and that goes for Sinema too.

As far as I can tell, that's a huge plus for his voters and Republicans in general.
