Manchin on McConnell rejecting his election reform proposals, per pool:

“McConnell has the right to do whatever he thinks he can do. I would hope there’s enough good Republicans that understand the bedrock of our society is having accessable, open, fair and secure elections.”

4. Wow, Manchin seems to go thru the five stages of loss in reverse order

Bargaining ==> denial ==> shock... perhaps now he can loop back around to acceptance without the necessary pit stop in depression.

I haven't seen a guy pursue rejection this hard since I was in high school
