IMO, the decision to now not follow the science, when we spent 13 months saying "follow the science" is not justified by any amount of logic twisting.

ones can’t be vaccinated yet (under 12) and the parents may wear them so then the kids keep them on their face even outside
Hard to tell very little ones sometimes to do something so it is a good idea to model the behavior
If anyone thinks little kids can’t get it or will have no problems from it , then talk to my friend who is a specialist pediatric nurse . Many cases of issues after covid in the last year seen and that’s only what one nurse in one specialty has seen. A lot of kids are already seeing specialist for a variety of medical problems they already have so their parents may not want to gamble on adding covid when out and about .
They are not families of assholes
Oh but everyone walking around without one now is vaccinated what’s the worry? That is BS plenty have not got a shot but never wanted to wear a mask and of course other random little kids they may encounter will also not be vaccinated

I never claimed that he got sick just that he got Covid. And there is no way for anyone to know if he did or did not infect anyone else.

But the point is and always has been that he said people still wearing masks are idiots. He has no way to know if someone is vaccinated or not or if they have any other health issues. It’s up to the individual to decide if they still want to wear a mask, not Bill Maher or the people discussed in the op.
