NINE PEOPLE SHOT DURING WEST VALLEY RAMPAGE:
Banner Health says they are treating nine different gunshot victims at three different hospitals.

This is one scene near 107th Ave and Union Hills.

There were multiple shooting locations.

The suspect has been arrested.
He was pulled over by Surprise PD & taken into custody without shots fired.
Officers recovered at least one gun.
Heading to Peoria PD for a briefing at 4pm.
3+ victims were shot in Peoria city limits.
FBI also now involved, according to sources.

At least 9 people have been taken to hospitals after multiple shootings in the West Valley area of metropolitan Phoenix. A suspect was apprehended.

(CNN) — Police departments in communities northwest of Phoenix told CNN there were multiple shootings in the West Valley region Thursday afternoon.

"We have two people confirmed shot in random acts," Surprise Police Sgt. Greg Welch told CNN. He said there were multiple shooting locations but could not provide an exact number.

Banner Health officials said three of their hospitals have received nine patients. Two patients were at Banner Boswell, three patients were at Banner Thunderbird and four patients were at Banner Del Webb.

It is unknown whether the patients had gunshot wounds or other injuries.

Banner Health officials, citing privacy laws, said they could not provide any additional information on the patients.
