I don't say this lightly. Out of all the #CapitolRiot videos I've seen, this 52 minute clip from an officer's body camera is the most intense. I firmly believe this video is necessary viewing to understand the gravity of Jan 6. 1/

4. I'm 8 minutes in, already a shitshow, some young dude commanding

the cops to "SIT DOWN!"--they felt equal or superior to the police, did not see them as authority at all.

disabled by the pepper spray, as are many of the officers, it's like war zone, the officers incapacitated and staggering around getting water flushed into their eyes.

7. 35 minutes, the MAGAZombie apocalypse starts breaking through the police line.

9. Watched to the end, before the mob broke into the tunnel.

The sense of entitlement among the MAGA goons, to tell the police repeatedly to stand down, to ignore them, assault them, and assume they can enter the building at will--they need to UNLEARN this behavior, or we will see it again and again in state capitals across the country.
