"Blacks for Trump" -- Just saw the sign on one of the clips from the Jan. 6 Insurrection.

That day, when I watched t.v., I think I saw, maybe, 3 black men in the total of the melee clips that aired that day. Three, and they weren't together. Just, three men scattered in a sea of angry white caps. And maybe it wasn't 3. Maybe it was just two, and one of them was caught on camera twice. Hard to tell, with everything happening all at one time.

Anyway, I do remember one of them. He was inside the Capitol building and he had a bemused look on his face. Actually, it wasn't immediately understood as bemused. It was one of those smiles you see on the face of an introvert who holds up the wall at a party. They want to look like they're engaged, but you know they are way outside their comfort zone.

I always wondered what he was doing there. Was he infiltrating the group, or was it one of those moments when he realized he followed the wrong crowd?
