I was kinda bummed that they didn't upload the entire segment, thought it told a powerful story. But they did include the interview with the Dad. Very sad, such a handsome and talented young man - he had such a bright future - his parents are unbelievably courageous.

25. It was hard to watch the dad

but I am so proud of both parents and the others who were involved. It was one of the great punked events of all time. In their quest to spread their gun propaganda they didn't even check to see if the school existed. That made it even more effective given killings linked to failed background checks.

With all the news that's bombarding us now, this was a remarkable story. And you're right, they didn't even check, just went right ahead - it's incredible that they had no idea, but that says what you need to know about both them and their message.
