The crybaby conservative business owners can't understand why and keep peddling the lie. There is NO worker shortage. There's a huge shortage of people who are fed up with being slaves. They learned the past year what they really are: essential. They're not going to take it anymore. They're not going to kiss your old cantankerous ass and act like you're doing them some big favor by doing slave labor in a totally thankless demeaning job. They chose to work with dignity.

Basically, supply meets demand at a price point. Pay at or above that price point and you'll have all the labor you could want and then some. Pay less, and you get no one. Funny how they all of a sudden don't like the free market when it takes a bigger bite out of their purse.
