Trump is launching a series of 'revenge rallies' -- and Republicans are worried

https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/trump-rally-ohio-florida-republicans-b1872215.html

The last time Donald Trump took to the campaign trail in support of Republican candidates, his party dropped two Georgia Senate seats and lost control of the upper chamber. He became the first president since Herbert Hoover to oversee a party’s loss of the House, Senate, and White House in a single four-year term.

Just under six months and one insurrection later, the ex-president is set to embark on a series of his signature rallies.

On Saturday, Trump will take to a Wellington, Ohio stage at what his leadership PAC is dubbing a “Save America” rally — his first use of that branding since his disastrous January 6 event at the Capitol — in support of ex-campaign aide Max Miller’s primary bid to unseat GOP Representative Anthony Gonzales. Gonzales, a two-term congressman and former professional footballer, was one of ten House Republicans to vote for Trump’s second impeachment. It seems clear that this first rally’s time and place isn’t coincidental: it’s part of a quest for revenge.

According to Trump confidantes, the ex-president has been chomping at the bit to campaign against such members of his own party since the day they broke ranks. He is confident of his ability to move a primary race with nothing except a statement of endorsement and wants to personalize his revenge fantasies by campaigning in each apostate Republican’s home district.

Offices burned, death threats, and attempts on their lives.

Spurred on by Agolf Twitler.

And no one will do anything about it.

he can NOT be controlled. He is a narcissist who has to get his revenge no matter what. He will do his best to destroy those who he feels crossed him, and he won't care one bit about "helping" the party, he only cares about getting his revenge.

I also agree the GOP deserves what is coming because they turned trump lose and allowed him to to his worst. They are to blame for what happened during his term, and they they will be held accountable for what he does between now and the elections in 2022.

They created the monster, now they will suffer as the monster turns on them!

These rallies are hugely expensive. All that you mentioned above, plus audio/visual, facilities set-up, signage, the town/location has to provide motorcades, security, traffic control, sanitation, and other functions provided from local government, all of which costs money.

He doesn't have that kind of money and his cult can't afford to pay (or probably won't be willing to pay) large admission fees to cover it. Maybe it will cover one or two of these "rallies", but that's going to sputter out and die pretty quickly. Because all they are going to hear is the same old tired song and dance over and over again.

though Trump will undoubtedly try to get away without paying at all, as per usual. And then Trump sells Trump swag directly to the idiots who turn up, which isn't election-related money that has to spent 'politically' - it's money to go straight into Trump's own pockets.

with people that paid their own way, and he wasn't the one footing the bill. Those Republican organizations might not be so willing at this stage to shell out the dough. Even Roger Stone might be leery. When it comes down to the nuts & bolts of the political drama, the last guy needs a lot of help.

And if he got into a higher position of power, he could really do some damage. He's obviously trying to be president of Fox News viewers right now, and that makes him dangerous.

He might get a crowd the first time or two but each will be less than the previous. He’ll be playing at state or county fairs very quickly. If he can’t pack them in it will embolden the rethugs to desert him. How many are going to want to keep going to his pity parties, and who will continue to donate? His ship is sinking. I’ll love to see it. Not that I’d go in person or anything, I’ll just watch the night time comedians roast him. LOSER!

Too bad, so sad. If they hadn't done so much damage to so many on their way to this cliff plunge, it would be rather humorous. As it is, I'm just rooting for gravity to do some of her best work on these soulless fuckers.
