4. It's just a bit of theater for their constituents

Make no mistake, there are probably all sorts of donor goodies packed into a $3 trillion dollar bill. And donors are who the GOP are primarily interested in servicing.

But now they have to do the, "We had no idea!" dance to their gullible voters.

They knew. They're probably getting just enough of what they wanted out of the two bills.

But they can't admit that, so now we're getting this.

This was no trick or secret. For the GOP and their mouthpieces to feign shock and dismay is disingenuous to say the least.

If President Biden pulls this off he'll need a Magician's badge. The Republicans willing to negotiate will be able to tell their constituents that they helped in bringing jobs and most needed infrastructure improvements across the country. Manchin and Sinema will have their bipartisan bill and both said they'd be willing to get on the reconciliation train after the bipartisan agreement making the rest of the Democratic Party happy.

If the gods are smiling, we'll get this done. Only thing that worries me is the time it will take to get these bills together to reach President Biden's desk. They're now talking the end of September.

Lots can happen. I'm sure McConnell is already planning his sabotage maneuvers while I type.
