Every one of these people I know has made a life of bad decisions, some knowing success because of luck or privilege (is that redundant?), but failing to become the heroes of their own lives, eschewing choices that are risky, especially emotionally so. Most of the country is over Trump. The more he's in the news, or is able to talk, the worse he looks. To everyone. And Repubs in Congress can safely ignore him right now. If he was out there in their faces every day, they'd be talking about Trump non-stop.

And instead of listening to how Kamala hasn't gone to the border, or other stupid stuff that affects us, they'd have to defend themselves against Trump.
