But in 2021, after the president and his allies have consistently championed unsubstantiated voter fraud, theres a new crowd favorite t-shirts that say Trump Won.
Pam Niner, 65, traveled more than an hour from Centerburg, Ohio to her third Trump rally after one in Circleville, Ohio last year and another in Delaware, Ohio during the 2016 election. And while shes eager to hear him announce a bid for 2024, shes convinced Trump didnt lose the last election.
I know he won, Niner told BuzzFeed News, her oversized TRUMP WON shirt nearly reaching her knees. Theres so much evidence out there it was stolen, she said before admitting only one thing could convince her otherwise. Jesus Christ would have to come down and tell me that Biden won before I would ever believe it.
Robert Clegg, 47, said of course when asked if he thought Trump won the election. He hasnt thought about Trump as a 2024 candidate. Instead, he told BuzzFeed News, Im hoping he gets back in there before'' and added with the overturning of the election.

(6,685 posts)I'm finding the racism in Ohio can put anything I ever saw in my short time in the south to shame. Well, that might be a bit of an overstatement - but worse or more worse isn't really much of anything to brag about.

They do not revel in stupidity but rather the certitude of being the "right" thinkers.
There is a universality of the human condition wherein we want knowledge. We want to know our world; this drives the scientist and the sport's stats expert. People want expertise without the 'egghead' work of learning, investigating, researching, correcting.
Thus the popularity of the internet.
When this desire to be among the few, the brilliant, the expert calcifies into delusion, the illusion can no longer be seen through.
Correction becomes impossible.
This need to know (something), once fulfilled most of us do not need to re-certify our knowledge again and again. It is the rare one who sticks a finger into the fire thrice.
Thus the maga-minimus know (something) with unshakable certitude. They revel in being the true-knowers.
However, as we know, the maga-mind is limited and these people do not know epistemology, thus as' knowers' they are limited, small, lacking. Their knowledge has no veracity. Their means and methods of acquiring knowledge are faulty like the logic that follows.

(66,386 posts)The bane of my professional life is the patient who disputes my diagnosis by assuring me that: "I know my body!"
That's a pretty stupid assertion to make, if you think about it. But it goes hand-in-hand with the notion of "right" thinking. "Yeah, the licensed medical professional I'm visiting with may have years of study, training, and experience on his side, but I 'know my body', so that's the only thing that matters."
One thing the "I know my body" types always fail to do is convince me that they've done even informal surveys to support their claim that they "know their bodies"; have they gone around asking other people if they know their bodies? And what constitutes knowing one's body? And if not, why not? How did you end of being one of the special chosen people who "knows his body"?
MAGAts demonstrate the same level of blissfully vacuous certainty about their views, and how they can remain valid without any supporting evidence whatsoever. They're engaging in "right" thinking...

(32,086 posts)He "won", but he needs "overturning of the election" to get back into office? Which is it, you moron? Can't have it both ways. If he won, there's no need to over turn an election.

About 2:55 on the timeline.
"Let me tell you," he continued. "If Jesus Christ gets down off the cross and told me Trump is with Russia, I would tell him, hold on a second, I need to check with the president if it is true. That is how confident I feel in the president."
