Wow. Tight results in the NYC mayoral election (RCV just came out): Kathryn Garcia barely beats Maya Wiley in the penultimate round, then closes most but not all of the gap with Eric Adams in the final round.

Adams 51%, Garcia 49%. A gap of 16K votes.

(120K+ ballots remain.)

Wiley and Garcia are really close in Round 10, before Wiley is eliminated. Which matters because this is all without absentee, so it’s possible once absentee is included, Wiley and not Garcia advances to Round 11. Weird stuff! https://web.enrboenyc.us/rcv/024306_10.html
