I live at 6000' altitude in Albuquerque, NM and we have had to turn on our heat the last 2 days

Our high temperature yesterday may have barely made 60 degrees F and today low 60s F.

Meanwhile Portland and Seattle in NW are breaking 100 F. Upside down weather.

1. I live at 4K in Montana and it's 99 at 18:30 tonight.

2. I live a little above 3000

In the Blue ridge mountains and our weather has been beautiful. I haven't turned my A/C on this year. ( most people that live here don't have it ) Every night lows in the high 50's . I think the hottest day so far this year has been 81

3. Almost 6000' just west of Denver. Low last night was 53.

Right now it’s 64 and drizzling.

4. We are going from mid to high nineties for four days to sixties and low seventies on Friday.

5. Here in Santa Fe it's 59 degrees and wet.

I’ve thought about turning my gas fireplace on, but maybe I’ll just bundle up.

7. The high desert can get cold. Years ago, I lived in high desert CA

where it could be 120 on a summer day and 50 that same night. Winter nights we might regularly see -15 or lower
