An Arizona newspaper has filed a law suit against the Cyber Ninjas and the Arizona state Senate, demanding to know who is funding the fraudit and what procedures they are using. The newspaper claims that taxpayers and voters have a right to know.
My question is, why hasn't our DOJ done this months ago? Federal election law is being violated.

(7,611 posts)Come Cyber Ninjas way if they ever release the results of their 'audit'.

(3,475 posts)First, they don't want to complete the fraudit because they'd have to get off the grift gravy train.
Second, they're stuck between the Scylla of presenting "evidence" (which would necessarily be faked because there is no real evidence) and the Charybdis of admitting that they found nothing. In the former case, Dominion's lawyers will squash them like insects; in the latter case, the Trumpanzees will come howling for their blood. That leaves them with the third option of hemming and hawing until everybody forgets about the whole thing and then quietly slinking back under their rocks.

(9,942 posts)The whole audit is illegal. Why is the federal government allowing it to continue?

(532 posts)To see what sort of silly report Cyber Ninjas submits at the end. They can't just say "It turns out there was so much fraud that Trump actually won Arizona by 200k votes!" (which the Cyber Ninjas founder claimed before their "audit" even started). They claim to be doing a "forensic" audit, which means scientific, which means everything they find must be reproducible by others. So all their findings and methods an procedures have to be in the final report, and if they are not, or if their results can't be verified based on it, then Cyber Ninjas will be totally exposed as a fraud (ironically).
It would be wrong to pounce before any 'conclusions' of the fraudit are announced. They deserve the ability to do the correct thing in the end and what they are doing isn't necessarily inherently illegal on the face of it.
But, all of the auxiliary and tertiary events surrounding this goat rodeo (including where the funding is coming from) are building up.
This is maybe why the less thinking impaired participants are slow walking any results. They know what's coming and they wish it would just go away.

(6,212 posts)In the mean time, Cyber Ninjas is dragging this out; probably to keep the money rolling in.
Once the fraudit is done, they'll have to show and tell, and then defend their conclusions.
I think Doug Logan may end up wishing he never took this on.
He will probably be facing federal, and possibly state charges for mishandling of those ballots.

(25,983 posts)As mentioned above, it's one of the reasons this is dragging out for so long. Cyber Ninjas found nuthin'.

(43,295 posts)As it is, everyone knows they are a bunch of crazies with a political agenda that has been granted license by a partisan political cult. Hence it has little legitimacy. It's biased, one-sided. If this were accounting, it would be called single-entry bookkeeping.

(38,580 posts)...or that they can't think?
How would anyone from China be able to match the signatures of 45,000 voters in the state of Arizona?
AZ has not reported more ballots cast than registered voters in the state. The counties and precincts know who voted and who didn't vote.
The ballots that were cast in person were obviously supplied by election officials.
The ballots that were mailed were signature matched.

(14,036 posts)fair elections, the longer they're able to deny the validity of the current administration.
When they finally stop the charade in AZ, they'll start another.
Blather, rinse, repeat.

Well I doubt now that we are in, what, the fourth month of this shit
. That they are just eating the cost of all this out of the goodness of their hearts. Someone is funding all this.
