These are the same folks who waited 4 years for Trump to "pivot" and "act presidential".
There is a difference between being optimistic and being unrealistic.
Serious question: Does the House even HAVE 5 "reasonable" Republicans?

(12,682 posts)He was never really smart, just lucky and personable enough for his clique. And a pretty enough blond guy to attract the big money donors.
It's been pretty obvious that his leadership abilities are the equivalent to a JV assistant team captain, and he's totally out of his depth whenever he actually has to make a decision rather than enforce a consensus.
He will dither until Pelosi picks for him.
