Kids somedays, amirite? But every parent needs a little help now and then. Sometimes they need a lot of help, like this good human gives to this Momma Duck.

Put screening on them and they clog up rapidly. I'm unaware of a good solution but would be interested in learning of any.

I've participated in a number of such rescues. Those dammed road drainage gratings are a death trap for small animals. Skunks included.
