Far-right white nationalist Nick Fuentes was removed from the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas on Saturday.
Although organizers removed Fuentes from the event, a range of far-right figures have been seen attending the conference, including members of the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys, and believers of the QAnon conspiracy theory.
CPAC is an annual gathering of top US conservatives, with former president Donald Trump due to speak on Sunday.

In a video posted to Twitter by Patriot Takes, Nick Fuentes can be seen outside CPAC with a group of his supporters chanting "Groyper."
Groypers are a group of white nationalist and far-right activists, headed by Fuentes, whose goal is to bring far-right politics into mainstream conservatism.

It just seems weird to me for any person who isn't Anglo Saxon would take up the White Supremacists Mantle.

(14,118 posts)ethnic Hispanics. I worked with one. He was whiter than I am and he sure had an attitude! Other than that I'm just surprised to hear that QPAQ has any kind of standard.
I did a search once to find out the difference between white ethnic groups (Hispanic and non-Hispanic} and learned that there is no difference, it just identifies where white populations are from. And of course many white people are white supremacists.

(7,286 posts)I just never understood the mindset of a person with mixed heritage supporting White Supremacy.
I am also curious about the QPAC having any standard, except maybe in this case, maybe word got out he was cooperating with the Feds and snitching on his former treasonous pals...
I mean I'm pretty sure he had been ID'd early on after his arrest and release, that he flipped, offered names, dates and places etc.
Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong person. I was thinking that was the reason why he wasn't allowed in.
