encouraged by both the language and the passion in the speech I just heard and watched him give about how vital passage of the "For The People Act" is to the very SURVIVAL of our democracy. But,-------
----tell me how this legislation gets passed without at least a "carve out" from the filibuster.
I have no knowledge about what sort of communication is taking place between the White House and the duo of Manchin and Sinema. I hope it is being made "pellucidly clear" to them that "Yes, we really mean it---the very survival of our democracy as we know it depends on passing this Act. This is bigger than anyone's reputation or their reelection chances. You can either help us save our nation or you can allow it to perish."
I am tired of hearing how we "need" these two. We only need them if our democracy survives '22. If it does not, no Democrat or non-Trumpie will really matter.

As much as she loves being the center of attention, I dont think she wants to be in the spotlight as the sole enabler of Jim Crow 2.0 and villainous dismantler of democracy.
