Seven months after the first COVID-19 vaccination in Tennessee, only 42.4 percent of the state’s residents have received at least one dose. Only 38

percent are fully jabbed up, according to the state’s latest data. Tennessee’s vaccination rates are among the lowest in the country.

The abortion issue has been political from the beginning. When Roe v Wade came down in 1974, and the Pope against abortion, the Republicans coldly decided that that would be the best way to peel the Catholics away from the Democratic Party. The whole issue has been cruelly exploited ever since. I don’t think most people realize this. They think it’s always been a moral issue. When it never has been

We have considered leaving but Every state that touches us is just as crazy. We would have to move pretty far North. We are southerners. We have children in Chicago but when I visit there and go into a store every head raises when I speak. That is when you realize how different you are. Many see us as uneducated rednecks.

I'm originally from the Chicago burbs. I can't recall ever hearing anyone speak in a Southern accent in the 50+ yrs I lived there. Lots on international accents, though, which always intrigued me. I'd tell people they have a cool accent, ask where they're from & try to learn about their original culture.

Btw, we are practically neighbors!!! I live in Shelby!

Meey up sometime when it's sane?
