Both are Progressive thinking countries, where quality of life and happiness factors are high.

Both of them did FAR better the last year in handling the pandemic than America. They don't shout about their FREEDOM Bullshit constantly like Americans do. A large segment do not care about the lives of others. Whether it's Guns or a Pandemic, many couldn't care less about others, they just send "Thoughts & Prayers."

Things are bad here, and they're only going to get worse, thanks to the Nutcases that make up a LARGE part of the population. The country isn't going to be United again in my lifetime, and I'd rather not be a part of that.

My parents are in their 80's, so I won't leave as long as they're alive. Hopefully it won't be too late when they do pass, otherwise I guess I'll be stuck here.

People were taken from their homes MERELY BECAUSE THEY WERE JEWISH! Not because they refused to take a vaccine that could save the lives of thousands, and get our country back to normal after a 17 month pandemic that's killed 620,000 Americans and counting.

Oh, and MOST of those put in Concentration Camps, did not come out alive. I do not see where the OP suggests putting people in gas chambers, until they can't breathe anymore. Besides, Covid will accomplish that on it's own.

It is not synonymous with extermination camp although the terms have come to be used interchangeably.

life much harder for anti-vax people. Should unvaccinated people be allowed to go on cruises, public transportation, or crowded sporting events? They are strutting around, spreading their germs, without masks and infecting others. It's wrong. They should be denied access to restaurants, concerts, indoor areas until they are fully vaccinated. Otherwise, this pandemic will never end. As an immune compromised person, it's terrifying to even go to a grocery store now.
