Looking at infection2020.com, Chattahoochee County Ga has a near 44% COVID infection rate.

.

WTH?

It's odd that certain counties explode while neighboring ones are lower.

The only one that's even close to that is Crowley County, CO with a 38% rate.

I do not have pleasant memories of Fort Benning! (Basic training there, May-July 1966. Hotter than the hinges of hell.)

Fort Benning is situated in Muscogee and Chattahoochee Counties, with a slight crossover into Alabama.

In 2020, Chattahoochee county voted Republican 55.6% to 42.2% Democratic. Almost certainly a low-vaccination area.
