General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe Republicans on the Select Committee are not out to find the truth about January 6th...
They are there to defend Donald Trump.
If they are not prepared to get to the truth, all the truth, they should not be on the Committee.
It doesn't matter if they are Democrats or Republicans. It should not be partisan.
If they cannot do that simple job, then perhaps they should withdraw from the Committee?
That is not the place for partisan division.
I suppose that may be asking too much?

(12,904 posts)Republicans have commissions, investigations, or committees to bury the truth about whatever issue is in question.
This time, being the minority, they will probably attempt to obfuscate the details, or accuse someone else of being the culprits. We will probably hear all about the fake boogeyman, antifa.
