How do we not have laws that prohibit Trump from running again after what he's done . . .

. . . inciting a violent insurrection over his own government? A failed coup wherein people died and our capitol was desecrated.

There is NO. WAY. Donald Trump should be permitted to ever run for public office again in the US.

Yea I know it won't. But it should. Constitutional amendments are impossible these days though and that is what it will take.

have a right to vote for their choice for Prez. Don’t think we can change that. Although, if there were ever a reason to do it, trump sure deserves being banned just because.

Last time I checked, "we know he's guilty" isn't a legal standard.

The Constitution overrides any laws regarding eligibility to run for President that might be passed. So, no law could do that. Only a Constitutional Amendment could do what you suggest. And that's not happening.

That's why no such laws exist. They cannot.
