The success of the bipartisan infrastructure deal, in some ways, is coming down to talks between Rob Portman (R-OH) and White House Counselor Steve Ricchetti, both longtime figures in Washington who are comfortable in their own skin and fluent in the art of legislating, Punchbowl News reports.
“It probably doesn’t hurt that Ricchetti — like Portman — is Ohio born and raised.”
