TFG PAC injects $348,000 last-minute into Ohio GOP primary after Texas loss

WASHINGTON -- President Donald Trump's political action committee, the Make America Great Again Action PAC, bought $348,081 worth of advertising on Tuesday in the Republican congressional primary in Ohio's 15th District, where a Trump-backed candidate is facing a crowded GOP field.

The large, last-minute ad purchase, the group's first in the 2022 cycle, was made the same day that another Trump backed House candidate, Susan Wright, lost in a special election in Texas 6th District.

The purchase suggests the Trump team believes it will take more just than the former president's endorsement to put former coal lobbyist Mike Carey over the finish line in the Aug. 3 primary.

The winner of Tuesday's primary will face a Democrat in November to see who will replace former GOP Rep. Steve Stivers, who left Congress earlier this year. The district leans Republican, making the winner of the primary a favorite to win the seat in November.

Hey Donny, maybe you wouldn't need to flush your shitter thirty times if you'd quit flushing money down it.

They know if they lose this one, there will be a total rush for the exits.

They'll probably win it, but the flop sweat is at least hilarious.

He must really feel the pressure right now. The only thing he cares about is money. And the illusion of winning.

I'm stunned that the grifting bastard is actually putting money anywhere besides his own pockets.

They know he is going to win and Trump wants to steal credit for it

Would be great if his involvement blew a sure thing

He considers that money his. He’s not going to spend it on somebody else unless there’s an upside for him if he does, or a downside if he doesn’t.

If his candidate is going to win anyway there is no upside. If he loses, that’s a big downside: two losses in a row by his endorsed candidate.

It's all to serve him, not the party. It's all to help him maintain his control.

The Texas fiasco must have really stung His Fraudulency that he's actually resorting to spending money to try to repair his reputation as a badass to his slack-jawed supporters.

The slobfather shouldn' have to invest a dime. The crazy is built in. The adds for this would be hysterical if these neanderthals wouldn't end up in Congress.
