1. For years I have been complaining here on DU about Democrats allowing ReTHUGs to refer to the party

as the Democrat Party. It was and is part of the attempt to disrespect the party by not using it's correct name. Now they callt he party Communist with no fight back or clarity on the party's philosophical underpinnings.

All of this is to denigrate and make the authoritarian one party system platable.

The evidence of their coup is everywhere. Fight back - lock them the fuck up for sedition and treason.

2. If I recall correctly, it was that dirtbag, Newt Gingrich

who first started saying Democrat Party instead of Democratic. It should be pointed out and corrected every time it's used. Thanks for all you do, malaise!

3. My first recollection of hearing this

stupid comment about the "democrat party" was in the vice presidential debate between Walter Mondale and Bob Dole in 1976. I was at a debate watch party and everyone in the room started shouting at the moderator to correct him, but alas, just as today, they were too both sider focused to say anything.
