Just saw a clip of a drunk airline passenger taped down to a seat

Because he pinched a couple flight attendants and actually struck one. I have I guess a silly question: lots of these jerks start drinking in the airport bars, then are allowed on the plane (sometimes not). But why aren't the bars held accountable for this? Do they have a drink limit? Do the airlines have limits while in flight? They should.

He kind of came to and put his head between his legs and puked! What was amazing is the people working for Alaska Air knew him. It sounded like they had problems with him before. This was back before 9/11.

The show featured a Southwest crew in LA and Chicago. It was a “day in the life” type series. On A&E, iirc.

The ground crews were constantly denying boarding to people who were drunk. I thought they were a little harsh. I didn’t know that was a thing.

The show was really not a great advertisement for Southwest. There were several times they denied boarding to people with “hygiene issues”

We'll see. I’m flying (hopefully) for the first time on Southwest in October to Puerto Vallarta.

Add to that the stress and hype of flying right now. Top it off with a couple of drinks... BINGO!

I don't know what is causing the groundlings to go nutz... Unless, it's the stress and booze already taking effect.

the limit at airport bars is the credit limit of your card

Note: I have never reached this limit.

Me and my buddies on a trip. Oh we had some drinks but not that much. There was a little bit of rowdiness but nothing major and it’s a pretty short flight. We maybe had 30 minutes left but I guess they were cutting people off collectively. One of my friends made a comment about “Oh this could get interesting” but nothing happened.

trying to make a scene over masking...

But, I'd imagine an airport bar would "fly under the radar" so-to-speak, given most passengers aren't going to leave and drive anywhere and the obnoxious getting on flights might have gotten their alcohol from several places, including on the plane. Unless there is a pattern of such...

I couldn’t handle some of the things I saw at airports. I don’t think I’ve been in an airplane since 2010, but I’ve driven all over the United States.

We’re in the planning stages of a nice long trip to a place that I’ve never been. The Pacific Northwest.

I’m starting to get a little excited. We really enjoy our road trips.

I haven’t had a drink in years, but I remember how getting drunk would make me have to pee every 15 minutes or so. I would think that constant getting up to take a piss would bother people. It is why I only sip a little bit of water the night before and the morning before a flight. I want to go to the bathroom as little as possible while there.
