Our City Council races are non-partisan. When we have a vacancy someone is appointed.
This guy happened to be a member of the State Republican Executive Committee for the Republican Party of Texas...These SREC members are worse than any old plain Republican. They are the base. The odds are that he represented a very conservative part of town...
