Thank goodness we have fucking idiots like Kennedy to bring things back into perspective.

President Obama having a huge 60th Birthday bash with 400+ guests was not a good idea, especially as the rates of COVID-19 increase. I am glad he scaled it back to close friends and family.

We all want to get back to "normal" and go back to when we didn't have to worry about potentially deadly respiratory illnesses when making plans. We aren't there.

Kennedy could certainly have made a much better point, similar to the hey that is being made about some of Gavin Newsom's actions during the pandemics height.

He could actually have said, that "elites" like President Obama are trying to tell us all to wear masks while they hold large events. Or something like that. I mean it still would have rung hollow unless he was also criticizing Trump for holding rallies and DeSantis for forcing schools not to require masks. It wouldn't have been so cartoonish that even the Fox News Ken Doll looked uncomfortable and ended the interview hastily.
