Romney tried to question Obama during the debate....

Romney tried to question Obama during the debate several times. Trying to be alpha, trying to get the upper hand, trying to put Obama in a submissive position.

I held my breath....and YES! Every time, every single time, Obama did NOT answer Romney's question, but instead turned it around, once or twice even making it humorous. He refused to be questioned like a school boy.

I just noticed that. That is all.

Exactly! This is why the criticism of Candy Crowley "fact checking" is so ridiculous. KathieG Oct 2012 #4

Funny how Mitt thinks the rules should apply to everyone except himself.

But Rmoney kept interrupting, but Obama did say at one time, "Let me answer your question".

But then Obama said something else. He did not answer the question Romney had asked. I think it was that was the pension question, maybe? He said he didn't have to look at his pension as often as R does, because he doesn't have as much money in his. He did not answer how often he'd looked at his pension, or whatever the specific question was.

I could be wrong, but that's how I remember it.

because Obama follows the 'rules of engagement'.... and not only did he defer, he immediately looked to Candy Crowley to reign him in, as it WAS against the rules of the Debate. I am actually quite pissed that nobody has pointed this out more loudly because he broke the rules in BOTH debates

All he did was cede his time over to Obama who then used the time to make his own points. Pissed me off too until I saw Obama use it to his advantage. Then I just smiled...

"Look, Gov. Romney. You keep asking me questions. The least you can do is be courteous enough to wait for my answer." Romney was doing his best to be a real bully and he succeeded. He should be ashamed of himself but his has no heart. Disgusting.

15. President or Boss?

Oct 2012

James Lipton (Actors Studio) was on Tweety yesterday and gave a brilliant analysis of Romney's performance. He said he finally was able to crystallize in his mind who Rmoney reminds him of. He said R is (paraphrasing) "that boss who stands around and makes lame jokes and expects you to laugh at them".

Then he looked straight into the camera and said "America, you need to decide if you want a PRESIDENT or a BOSS."
