I think Elder will get elected and then tossed out on his ear like Brown in the general in November 2022.

no party preference

Every registered voter in California gets a postage paid mail in ballot

Democrats control the large population areas

If the recall was successful, the leading candidate who is a climate denier, anti abortion, anti climate change extremist is not where the majority of the state is

As long as every Democrat mails in their ballot, and ever progressive NPP votes, this recall will go down in flames

Ballots will be mailed out in a couple of weeks

They will have weeks to mail out the ballot, and California counts every vote

I am very skeptical of the polls, because I believe almost every registered Democrat will vote, and so will the NPP progressives, and those vote will be against the recall

Because every registered voter is afforded the convenience of a mail in ballot, I do not buy that 11 point down in the polls. A few days ago it was within 3 points with an Emerson poll

Something doesn’t smell right about the polling. Either bad sampling or people are lying to the pollsters

This is the third recall attempt against Newsom. Th others failed because they couldn’t get enough signatures, and the only reason this one succeeded is because some jackass judge allowed a three month extension to get more signatures.

As long as the majority of Democrats vote, this recall will go down in flames

Recall the Repuke if it wins.

CA legislature will need to go “parliamentary”. Pass very liberal legislation and constantly override its vetoes.

to do what you suggest before the next election in 2022

The repukes has wasted the state a lot of money for this sham

As long as the Democrats in California vote, we will be fine

12. Voters generally do not like politicians who appoint themselves to another office

Wendell Anderson, governor of Minnesota, resigned so his Lt. Govenor could appoint him (Anderson) to the Senate. This was after Walter Mondale became VP. At the time Muriel Humbphrey was filling Hubert's seat after his death so we had two senate seats up in the November 1978 election.

It was a blood bath. The DFL lost both Senate seats and the Governor's office. I can't remember what other races we lost.

As SNL's Weekend update said when reporting on this "..and the first earthquake was reported in Minnesota. Source of the quake was found to be a the grave of Hubert Humphrey who was spinning at the rate of 1 miilion rpms."

I beilieve this mistake has been made in other states as well.
