Where was the outrage? The loud, angry protests? The political posturing - from the first two situations? Oh yeah, there were none.

But it was TFG that made it all about him. And the Qpublicans that are making it all about them.

And because of their ludicrous, ridiculous, deadly authoritarian behavior, it puts all at great risk.

COVID - and fiddling while the earth burns and floods (climate change) - both big issues that we no longer seem to have the will or desire to deal with. Which will get us all first, one wonders?

1. It's going to be the hurricanes that get us down here.

We're supposed to have a very active season this year. It seems like we're having more active seasons every year, and now we've got an epidemic to contend with along with entering the peak of hurricane season. I can see a disaster looming, with displaced people carrying Covid and quarantines all over. I hope I'm being paranoid, but it looks to me like we could have a perfect storm here. I hope FEMA is paying attention and preparing for the worst.

The same kinds of idiots whined about their right to smoke in my face and how unfair it was to wear seatbelts. There were plenty of loud angry protests from the assholes.

Doesn't make the current idiocy OK though.
