Another child has died from COVID. This is the 6th pediatric death from COVID that I've posted in the last 48 hours. The child was from Los Angeles County California, less than 12 years of age and therefore ineligible for vaccination. abc7.com/los-angeles-co…

2. Heart breaking and so unnecessary

I am so angry that we are seeing such needless death because of the anti-vaxxer b.s. which has scared some folks from taking the vaccine before the Delta variant exploded on the scene. This is simply going to get worse at exactly the wrong time when children under the age of 18 return to school classrooms. We will end up having to go back to isolating and stopping economic growth until a-holes like DeSentence, Abbot & Noem finally take the correct action or get thrown out on their asses. As it stands, this new surge is going to surpass the impact of the 1918 pandemic if we cannot stem this tide asap.

7. My year-old grand baby . . .

(who I have yet to see in the flesh) was exposed to the virus in her rehabilitation setting. She was quarantined and checked for nearly 2 weeks. Thank the Universe, she tested negative throughout the ordeal.

Cassandra is a single child but representative of all the babies who cannot be vaccinated through no fault of their own or that of their parents. She's in rehab because her weak lungs are still an issue after major heart surgery last year. She shares a pediatric ward with fragile babes, none of whom can risk a Covid infection. And yet . . .

Someone walked onto that floor with an active viral infection. Because Freedumb!

My daughter-in-law said if she ever finds out who brought the virus into the unit? She will personally murder them.

These babies and all the other medically fragile Americans is why not getting vaccinated is the ultimate act of selfishness and betrayal. You want to risk your own life and be an asshole, that's one thing. But the vaccinated and their children have rights, too.

We're all getting sick and tired of the excuses!
