2. Smallpox didn't care about herd immunity.

You got it, you died or survived, and if you survived, you were immune. The immunity was unfortunately not passed on genetically

Nothing really stopped Smallpox from ravaging communities over and over again for centuries until there was a legitimate vaccination.

Herd immunity is not a real answer for most diseases, unless one does not care about the initial high body counts until the disease finally burns itself out or mutates to something else.

It's well known that Kushner and TFG were sure that the cities - primarily the blue areas, and of course, the poors, will be the ones to get hit hardest.

Not that any of them would know how to read up on the history of epidemic spread or pandemics if someone chucked a History book at them.
