CA Recall disinfo?

A group on Facebook calling itself Enact Universal Healthcare for California is calling for a vote for the recall because "Gavin Newsome wants to emulate Trump and expand private insurance." This is the first I've heard of this group. They are advocating replacing him with "Democrats and Greens on the ballot. Don't let your hubris get in the way. Vote out the incumbents or you will never see positive change and progress."

If we vote to recall, the likely GOP replacement wouldn't go anywhere near healthcare reform. The Gaslighting has begun!

3. Oh, for sure. I've seen banners ad for lots of groups like this

Their ad's schtick is always "Don't Vote For The Democrat, they're not supportive of (Insert Issue Here)". And the issue is always a general progressive goal that most Dems supports like "Medicare", "Social Security", "Universal Health Care" or "Making Corporations Pay Their Fair Share", "LGBTQ Rights" etc. Often they then mention the Green Party or some obscure candidate with no chance of winning.

I'm pretty sure they're all the work of one astroturfing, GOP-donor funded outfit that makes up fake-ass groups like "Americans for Medicare" and produces the banner ads.

But ... they could be Russian.
