ABC News got its hands on some private messages that it says Matt Gaetz’s buddy Joel Greenberg allegedly sent. The messages, ABC reports, were turned over to federal investigators, and reportedly show Greenberg arranging a meet up between himself, Gaetz, and women who were allegedly paid for sex.

Things are looking increasingly bad — and gross — for the congressman.

The new messages give us a bit more insight into how Greenberg allegedly met women online, made arrangements for sex with the women and allegedly introduced them to Gaetz and other associates.

Sources told ABC News that Greenberg has been continuing his cooperation with prosecutors and has handed over “thousands” of files that could implicate the Florida congressman and others. The files reportedly include years of Venmo and Cash App transactions, photos, videos and personal social media account information.

Greenberg, of course, pleaded guilty in May to several crimes, including sex trafficking of a minor, and agreed to cooperate with the feds. Gaetz remains at the center of the federal investigation into allegations he paid for sex with a minor he met through his buddy Greenberg, but he hasn’t been charged with any crimes. He’s also denied all of the allegations.
