Reports from an Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft
indicate that Fred has regained tropical storm status over the
southeastern Gulf of Mexico.
Tropical Storm Warnings will be
issued for portions of the northern Gulf coast on the 11 AM EDT/
10 AM CDT/1500 UTC advisory.

All too often, these things get hung up in the mountains of north Georgia and knock out electricity. We were without power for more than 80 hours last November due to tropical storm Eta.

I always keep an eye out for stuff out by me because I have seen some do the "loop-de-loop" and come west.



(this one is just south of Bermuda and currently due to loop around the western side of it)
