He needed to resign as soon as he put his uniform on and pranced over to the "Battle of St. Johns" photo OP with Dipshit Donnie.
I don't care how much he tries to "rehabilitate" his "ragged shit" reputation, he is a disgrace to the uniform, and as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the withdrawal is his shit-sandwich.
This is a tragic opportunity to remove someone that should have been fired years ago.

(50,300 posts)We've spent billions training them, lost thousands of lives and, in the end, there were only 3,500 American troops on the ground. 300,000 Afghani troops. 75,000 Taliban fighters. Give me a break. It's heartbreaking to see this happen, but we can't care about Afghanistan more than the Afghanis. IMO, the diversion of the media into bash Biden mode will allow the domestic terrorists to prepare for their next onslaught. That's where the real danger to our country is.

(35,361 posts)terrorism from the Taliban again. I am far more concerned about
those domestic fools that attacked the capital.

(32,086 posts)Funny how the names "Bush" and "Cheney" never come up, unless it's the latter's rancid daughter spewing her bullshit all over the news cycle. We were there TWENTY YEARS, and if the Afghans can't stand on their own now, they never will. All this tells me is what a goddamn waste this whole exercise was. And, those two ratbastards and their associates get off Scot free, while the useless media scapegoats Biden for everything that's happening. Sickening. Absolutely sickening.
