Listening to the talking heads now, concern trolling Biden's decision, wringing their hands and clutching their pearls. It's disgusting.

...stretching back, as he said, some 20 years.

No hyperbole, proudest I've ever been of a president. He covered almost all of my advocacy over that period in his short address. This is the foreign policy that directly confronts our reflexive militarism and draws a clear line between political aspirations and our true national security interests.

He's supposed to back down from the withering criticism of the know-nothings! They all had a super-secret plan that would have worked out beautifully if it had been tried, and no, you can't know any of the details because, you know, super-secret. And what's with all this talk of lives and money? Since when did the U.S. and A. start putting price tags on liberty and freedom and spreading the American system all over the globe?! We were really, really close to winning Afghanistan, but President Biden cut it short after a mere 20 years.
